How To Wean Your Baby From Breastfeeding

June 6th, 2007 · 25 Comments

Most mothers have these problems including myself.

My daughter is going to be 2 years old soon ,and I think I did a good job in weaning her out of breast, now she only takes the breast when she goes to sleep. Whenever it was time for breast, I distracted her with food including bribing her with favorite foods, so she could be full.I would wear high neck dress so she couldn’t take out my breast.Yes she would kick and scream ,but I never gave in.It was so bad she would wake up three times in the night for breast.Sometimes, my husband would sleep in the next room. After  only three nights, she stopped waking up.

What did you experience when you tired to wean you baby off the breast?
